The former Neon Jamon in the heart of the city centre has re launched with a brand new concept

Just steps from Liverpool’s famous Chinese Arch, with hanging plants from Macrame baskets filling the olive hued space, a lush urban oasis has recently opened.

The main bar space is a light, bright space which has feature floor-to-ceiling windows to watch Berry Street go by – although it feels a world-away from Chinatown.

There’s even a Yorkshire pudding style roast dinner waffle on Sundays

Wolf & Waffle also has a beer garden, which (as well as the bar area which offers beers and cocktails) is open from midday to midnight, Tuesday to Sunday.

It’s not so much wolf, and definitely more waffle with Belgian style waffles, made to order in all manner of ways including savoury, sweet, vegan and gluten free.

Savoury waffle menu highlights include the Canadian with fried buttermilk chicken strips, poached egg, mustard maple syrup and gravy jug £10 and there’s even a Yorkshire pudding style roast dinner waffle on Sundays topped with roast beef, roast potatoes, carrots, cauliflower cheese, broccoli and gravy (£10).

If sweet waffles are more your thing, you might prefer things like the Black Forest waffle with black cherries, chocolate brownie, Chantilly cream, berry jam and chocolate shavings (£7).

The new dog-friendly Wolf & Waffle is a fully Covid secure space which adheres to all current Government guidelines. It looks like the perfect new spot for meeting mates to watch the football, enjoy weekend cocktails or nurse a Sunday hangover with a pile of warm comforting carbs.

Wolf and Waffle does not take bookings and welcomes walk in customers.
